My first silver quarter

Had a short hunt this morning at the park where I found the gold grill. It gave up another goodie in the form of a 1964 silver quarter. It rang up as a steady quarter at 6 inches.
Didn't find any silver coins all of last year and have now found 3 so far this year. Go figure... A lot of the same places that I have been to before too.
The rest of the clad coins added to $1.72... Just enough to offset this mornings coffee.

Congrats Finn! Love them silver coins. I myself found a few of them last year but so far this year they havnt wanted to come out and play. Haha.... Again congrats and keep swinging.

I had to smile at the clad covering the cost of morning coffee. Back when I was coinshooting I would find enough clad to pay for accessories and that is also good for a smile. Silver coins are just a bit of something special, on my 6000 D Coinmaster they would come in with such a clear clean sound alerting me to dig carefully.
