Hunted a favorite place today but didn't think anything was there since I have hunted it so many times. Anyway I dug a piece of iron out and thought I guess I'll check the hole again... then an 89 on the XLT... over and over a 89. I have not had a good signal for a while at this site.... then a pinpoint and a dime.... love the old XLT

Great digs! Those Mercs sure are pretty!

Well I have yet to get tired of finding any Mercs!...although when I do find them and they are the ubiquitous 1942s I'm tempted to say "just a 1942 Merc". :laughing7:
Nice 1920 Merc!

I realized sometimes time can change hunt conditions, thought I hunted out my fav spots, and ended up scrarching my head thinking how did I miss this. Congratulations

Well, today I dug my first Merc EVER after two-&-1/2 years detecting, yay! Nice 1941. My son today dug one of his best buttons ever, an old large Eagle button with perfectly intact back. Happy Detecting Days to All Yall from cool but sunny central CA. Andi
