My first silver of the year.... just a merc but silver

Hunted a favorite place today but didn't think anything was there since I have hunted it so many times. Anyway I dug a piece of iron out and thought I guess I'll check the hole again... then an 89 on the XLT... over and over a 89. I have not had a good signal for a while at this site.... then a pinpoint and a dime.... love the old XLT

Well I have yet to get tired of finding any Mercs!...although when I do find them and they are the ubiquitous 1942s I'm tempted to say "just a 1942 Merc".

Well, today I dug my first Merc EVER after two-&-1/2 years detecting, yay! Nice 1941. My son today dug one of his best buttons ever, an old large Eagle button with perfectly intact back. Happy Detecting Days to All Yall from cool but sunny central CA. Andi
