My FIRST silver Half and Barber Dime

Been hunting a few old parks in the Dallas area the last couple weeks and I have found so far (not all in the picture) 29 quarters, 59 dimes, 4 nickels, 59 pennies, 2 wheaties (only one pictured) and my First Silver half (1957) and First Barber dime (1916). 
Hopefully sometime soon I will have my first ring for the year!

FOR THOSE OF YOU that asked....I'm still lookin' for the rest of the dollar! lol Got excited when I was out detecting and saw part of a bill under the dirt...well, turned out to be just that piece. ANYONE seen the other part? lol

Trust me, Franklins are a lot harder to find than silver rings! Nice finds!

I would very happy to say I found a Franklin Half! Funny how certain coins can avoid a person, I have been hunting a few decades and still no Franklin Half, but by the same token, my son, who has been hunting almost as long as I has yet find the elusive Barber Quarter!

So your last few weeks of finds for hunting in the Dallas area sure look like you are doing great~ Now find that first ring for 2008!

Those Franklin Halves seem to be rather rare. I only found one in my whole detecting career. I've been swinging detectors since 1989 or so. Congrats
