My first silver coin!!

I did a lttle reseach on a fair that frequented this area. Today its mostly houses, except for a right of way path that I think is town owned.
I walked this right of way many times, never realizing it was a fair at one time. Today Metal detector in hand I decided to give it a go, 100 ft. into the walk I had a weak silver hit ,that flucuated alot . I dug down about 4 inches , low and behold this poped out.



This is my first silver of any kind found with my vintage Whites 6000/Di series 2. Needless to say I was a bit excited.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I went back today and found some clad and an aluminum 4 leaf clover pendant down about 6 inches. Needless to say I"m wearing it for good luck ha-ha. I didn't find anymore silver though. I'll go back again but I think it was a lucky hit, it might not even been associated with the fair .
