SLQ!!! Got out this morning for a quick hunt before the rains came. I knew I only had a few hours so I went to my favorite spot. It's a early 1800s house site that was used as a dump in the late 18 early 19 hundreds. I have found everything from silver buckles and jewelry to old nickels dimes and penny's to civil war relics at this site but I have NEVER in a year and a half of MDing popped a silver quarter out of the ground. I was kind of tired so I stopped for a coffee and the sky's were darkening already. Got to my site and my very first hole only about 3-4 inches down (read a jumpy 80-90s on my at pro) BAM out pops a 1927 standing liberty quarter!!!! I am still so excited but I managed to hunt for another hour and a half and got some awesome conste jewelry that looks Victorian to me. Any way you slice it one of my best hunts ever!
