My FIRST seated Liberty

Was out at a good friends house today detecting his fields. Found my missing link! I have a 1754 KG and early 1900s coins. No 1800's. Got a jumpy signal spent 15 minutes or more digging and searching and out pops my first ever 1840 Seated Liberty Dime. I couldn't believe how good of condition it was in. He pulled a 1896 nickel out that looks like a plow may have damaged it so I was lucky. I won't lie.... I almost shat myself repeatedly after seeing it. Here it is guys and gals!!!

I fully understand! I dug my oldest seated coin, an 1854, new orleans mint dime this past weekend. I saw the one dime on the back and thought great, a barber. I was not prepared for the seated figure or the date on the other side. It has a hole in it though.

Now go get another one!

It is lonesome!
