My First Seated Half -- on video!

My buddy and I have been trying to beat the heat (high 90's in Gold Country) so our last few relic hunts have been in the evenings. We had a perfect night so we headed back out to a site our buddy Clyde turned us on to. The site had some Pony Express activity and also has a couple foundations. Clyde had found several seated coins in this area and we found some good stuff here the day before.

I was fortunate to dig my first Seated Half. This is one coin that simply evaded me for a long time.

WARNING: In the excitement of the find, a few "Choice Words" pop out. If easily offended please be warned. I did not edit them out because it captures the raw and real excitement/reaction to this find. And isn't that why we detect--for the thrill of the find!!

Wow! What a pretty coin.

When I find one (one can always hope!) I am sure some choice words will come out of my mout too. That is, after I pick my jaw up off the ground!
