Metal Detecting
I was out hunting a park the other day and I saw a lady going over the football field with a kids metal detector. I could tell from a distance that she didn't know how to even swing it properly. We started talking and she said that she had lost her small ring that went with her wedding ring while painting the lines in the grass for the youth football team. I asked her for her wedding ring to get a tone to go off of. It rang up at a 79 on my Pro. She told me she will be at the game the following day if I would happen to find it. I followed the painted line in the grass for about 15 min. By now she had left. I hit a solid 78-79 tone, pulled the blades of grass back, and there it was. I returned the next day and handed it back to her. She was very grateful and gave me a hug. It was a great experience to be able to make a difference with a hobby I love.
