Cool find. can't help with the year. You find a lot of those around the old cellar holes. Some will be silver too.

I think that is called a "Fiddle" pattern. That's about all I have to offer. Maybe Breezie will chime in soon.

Is there a makers mark on the back? Nice find.

To me it looks like brass or copper. I think! I'll take some better pictures later on.

Heres a pic. But no markings. Probably its under the rust.

Check the back where your fingers are touching the spoon. You may have to clean a little crud off to see them but there should be a name or something there.
