I found this on my first metal detecting expedition in Northwest Arkansas. I believe this relates to the Battle of Pea Ridge. I found a little bit on the internet about it. Apparently, it is a US Calvary Bridle Rosette. Not bad for my first real find, huh?

Sorry for the crappy pics...they were taken on my iPhone.

If anyone knows anything else about this, please tell me about it. I found it where there was supposed to be a Confederate campsite, but I think its Yankee?

That is a nice find buddy. Good pictures from a cell phone too.
