After receiving permission from my towns park and recreation department, I was able to go down a park that is just down the road from my house. Hunted for about an hour and a half and found nothing but pull tabs and bottle caps galore. I know there's silver around there somewhere because its old, dating back to the 40's. So far it looks like an untouched ground. I did however managed to find two stinken Lincolns and one rosevelt as well as a coat or shirt pin. Don't know if its silver or not but it had me excited and determined to continue hunting. Unfortunately my metal detector's batteries have died and I haven't covered the whole area yet but I am definitely going back. But on the top of it all, I have managed to loose 12 pounds (not in one day lol) as well as clean the Earth of trash. Enjoy!
