My first post

I 've been checking this forum since last Nov when I bought my first Md - Prizm III, what a great machine. I have been able to find a bunch of coins, real big silver ring .925 and gotten some exercise. I decided to post a pic of a find from last night - it appears to be a military button and there was a rivet in the hole with this item. After spending 2 hours looking at button pics this morning ( I had NO idea there were so many buttons) still have not been able to get an approx date - hoping someone here can help.

I think it's a WW1 button or harness brass.

Welcome Photojs! I also have a Prizm3, not a bad machine by any means but I am upgrading very soon & giving the Prizm to my girlfreind! It is great at finding coins but not much depth to it. Keep posting your finds & Im sure someone will be able to tell you all you want to know about your button, many many smart, helpful people here! (not me...........im dumb as a bag of hammers! LOL)
