Did some research and found a park area which used to hold music events. The foundation for the old Bandstand is still there. Sadly this place is on the edge of the city where kids and drunks drop there trash all over the place. I found this pocket watch only about two inches deep near a cluster of rocks that looks like was used for sitting during picnics ,ext. found a 1942 cent as well. If I had to guess the watch is circa 1940s and decent condition for being there for a while. Any additional info is greatly appreciated.

I can't give you any info, but I sure like the watch. I wonder how long it ran to get to 2 1/2 minutes til 7 before stopping. Cool find.

I was going to suggest the same thing BuckleBoy. Man...I love those old watches. Cool find!

My eyes were playing tricks on me, In the photo where you are holding the watch, just below the watch, on the ground looks like a hamered silver coin. Nice watch though
