Hi all,
I did a quick hunt last Thursday evening after work. I went to the tree farm again. This time I tried the old road that was used in the 1700's. Not long into my hunt I got a hot rock signal but it was just high enough on the depth gage that I decided to dig. About 6 inches down I unearthed my oldest coin to date. A 1721 King George l copper in pretty good condition. I have found a few there before but not this nice and this is my first KGl. The pictures are obverse/reverse and a pic of what they would have looked like when they were made. Thanks for looking.
