My First Indin Head and Oldest Coin to Date!!

I am sittin' here thinking, "Did that really just happen?" I decided to do a little dirt fishin' this afternoon since I have been dealing with family issues for 3 of the 4 weeks I have been laid off (Don't worry, going back to work next week, long story). I had just finished up my Tractor Supply "Mini-Shovel" hack and wanted to try it out some. Went to a home site (structure gone for many years) I have had permission to hunt for months but hadn't been able to get the time to go check it out. Start cruising through the field and get a decent hit. Dug it (and unfortunately scratched the target on the back) and it was a penny. It was dirty but it looked on the back to be a Wheatie or something. Got to the house and rinsed it under some warm water and voila!! My first ever Indian Head and my oldest coin so far, 1906. Every single other hit during the remaining hour was rusty metal trash. When I figure out how to take a decent photo of a coin, I will post it. YeeHah!

I am new at this and also just found a 1881 Indian head penny
It’s hard to read. Now i will be paying closer attention to all my finds.
Now if I can figure out how to determine what sounds mean what.
