Hey Folks,

I hit the main drag down here today nice and early and it was crawling with other hunters. I stayed up in the dry sand where the chairs are put out by the hotels and scored! It sounded like trash (-3 or -6 on my Minelab 505) but I decided to kick the sand and I caught the gold glimmering as the sun sit it. I started pulling on it slowly and it just kept coming, all 30 inches :) Stamped with 14k and I confirmed it with the acid test, 11.5 grams. It didnt have a pendant on it so I was very lucky that I decided to dig the trash signal.

I also was able to manage $5.58 to add to my clad count and a junk earring.

Enjoy..

nice chain!

are you sure the chain itself gave a signal and it wasn't a lucky find with another target ?

Now that is a gorgeous chain find!

Keep 'em comin' , Wicholee!

Way To Go Wicholee: Most likely the return was off the lobster claw clasp.

I have found just the lobster clasp of a gold chain with my excel, no chain just the clasp I didn't measure it but it was for a larger chain...
