went detecting my neighbor's pasture which has some plum trees on it. It is just acorss the road where I live. Half the area has been filled with road construction garvels back in the 1950ies but the other half is untouched. My first good signal was the horseman. I already have 2 but they have lost their heads.......so this one is still "heads on" and I found the stand and a piece of the horse leg too. Besides this I found 4 coins which are non readable (most likely 3rd Reich) 1 x 5 Rentenpfennig 1924 (my first in a real nice condition - every time I find one of those I think...GOLD!!!! but it's not....Grrr...) and 1 x 1 German Mark 1950.

Nice finds Horst. The horseman is a nice piece. Congrats

Nice finds and saves on the Horseman and the coins. Well Done.

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Very nice finds, Horst. I enjoy seeing your posts very much. Several years ago we were on a Viking River cruise for 2 weeks and while taking a bus trip from Germany back to Salzburg, Austria, I noticed someone in a field detecting. I would have loved to be able to stop and talk but couldn't because it was a guided tour. Do you have any problems getting permission to hunt?

Never found a lead soldier with his head. Headless soldiers, headless horses and headless riders....These 5 and 10 Rentenpfennige can fool you for sure.

Sweet coinage get up on that high horse those are some sweet finds. Tommy
