You said you found it. Was it buried or laying on the ground or ??
My first reaction is a 'copy'/'replica', but that may be too harsh.

Looks good to me. Maybe the lighting is throwing you off, and possibly cleaned/polished also.
 

it was two inches under the ground on pasture land, its defiantly a silver coin though the picture isn't the best i must admit il take a better picture in day light tomorrow
 

Edward longcross penny is definitely right..... but with these, it's hard to tell if it's Edward I(1272-1307), Edward II (1307-27) or Edward III (1327-77). Edward I or III are easily the most likely. But what a find!
 

A very nice unclipped Edward 1st. London Mint. You don't get them like that very often.:thumbsup:
