my first golden ring and a miss

yesterday evening i searched a field where they are going to build houses, to do so they leveled the area with lots of thrash soil so ideal to search, i found this ring (must have been a big guy compared to my wedding ring to the right, and I'm already 2 m tall) later on i found a coin, so i thought! after cleaning it turned out to be a nice copper disc, you can't win them all, but I'm going back this week, it's a square km and I've only done one strike of 2m wide.
