After pulling old crusty clad and pull tabs for the last year I finally found my first gold. A gold crown found in an old orange grove at 6in deep. Hope the original owner had enough cash to replace it- IMG_0064.JPG

Thanks guys! Looking forward to posting more finds-

Congrats on your first gold, may there be many more to come!

Way to go!
Thank goodness you didn't find the rest of the poor fellow...
Keep Digging!

gold is gold nomater in which shape :) gz!

Yeah I agree with Markomyt1, If you dug down 7 inches you might of found a skull! Very interesting find.

I certainly haven't found any, but I think people find gold teeth as often as gold coins are found! NICE AU no matter how you chomp it.

I myself have yet to find gold. It seems after you find your first more gold follows much more easily. Congratulations though!!!

First gold you have now it's time for the second.Congratulation

That's awesome. Congrats!

Nice gold! It does look like a nugget! Wonder if there's more?

Maybe it was spit out after a fight between two old boys. Just imagine what that gold would say if it was still in someone's mouth!

Ya, wish I knew the story behind it(dieselram94) that was the first thing I thought. I think someone got punched out. The area was right next to the train tracks so it has a lot of history. I will go back but I doubt that I will anything that is connected to this find-
