My first gold!

I went out for a short time yesterday. I went to a Wayside about 30 miles from home just to see what may be there. I was finding pulltabs and bottle caps, and disposing of them in the trash. I found a couple of clad quarters and 7 pennies all modern dates and was ready to call it quits. I tried one more area and got a weak tone, figured it was going to be a paper clip or the like. I dug down an inch or so and out popped a 10 K gold earring. I know it isn't much, but it is my first gold! I searched the area just in case the match was there but no luck.
