Good luck on it being real. If it was mine it would probably be sterling with 14k plate. Having a big drought on finding good stuff here. Maybe its time to try some different spots.CARM
 

is it marked on the clasp? typically, if it aint marked...no gold.
 

we know the clasp has been replaced.it has no marking anywere it was almost a inch underground.i looked for sliver worn spots black spots did not see any.. i did some home test with a magnet and it did not stick to it..and a test that i thought was funny my wife wares makeup so i rubbed it on my wifes face and there was a black mark were i rubbed. and i been told if it does leave a black mark than it might be real.i work at a pawn shop so i can do a acid test on it to know for sure i will let you know for sure.being it was in the wet ground it should show some kinda sign of not being real. i know the clasp is fake or got a copper center..but thanks for the info that u gave me..
