Went to a lake that I have previously hunted 2 times mainly to see if I had cleaned up the area very well. After about 2 hours of water hunting and only finding a few clad coins and a couple bling earrings I decided to hunt the grassy area of the park. After pulling about a half dozen pull tabs I got a solid 48 signal and dug about a 6 inch plug figuring it was going to be another pull tab or heavy foil. To my surprise about half way down the plug I saw the front of this absolutely gorgeous gold ring sticking out of the dirt! The hair on the back of my neck stood straight up! It is a 14k gold engagement ring with 9 diamonds and three marquise cut sapphires. I presume it is part of a wedding set because it has a small notch where the ring probably centers up with another ring. That fired me up so much that the next day I went to a different park to hunt the grassy area where a lot of activities are played. The very first target I got was a 55 and I dug this beautiful gold and ruby ring. However after getting it home and cleaning it up a little bit and getting my reading glasses on I found it is marked Seta on the inside which after a little research I found is a company that prided itself in making not only genuine jewelry but a line of lesser expensive jewelry that was designed to look real. Still a nice find though. The spatula and the awesome cell phone was found the day before at the previous park in a volleyball area. This next week I plan on returning to the lake/park to search for the other half of that beautiful wedding set.
Enjoy! Happy hunting and Merry Christmas!
