This was my first full year at this hobby. I am very happy with my results. I just started ordering boxes 1 year ago september.
When the year started I had a goal of finding 365 silver. I passed that goal by early May so I revised my goal to 1000 silver halves.
I did a lot of traveling up and down the state for both work and pleasure and that defanately helped. I found quite a few towns that had banks with lots of cwr with silver.
I searched 178 boxes. I did not keep track of how many cwr but it had to be around 500. And, somewhere around $300.00 in teller tray halves.
My high lights were a box with 89 silver in April. I found 6 solid $10.00 rolls and 2 solid $20.00 rolls.
My oldest find was the 1858s
I ended up with 1002 silver halves.
(1) Seated
(17) Walkers
(46) Bens
(85) 64's
(1) 1982 George Washington Comm.
(852) 40's
180.2658 oz of silver.
I almost did not make my goal. I was 40 short last week and I found that last solid $20.00 roll on Dec 30th.
Hope everyone had a good year.
Here's to a silver filled 2016.

Love it! Congrats on the great year NorCal!

Great year Steve! It looks like CWR produce for you way better than they do for me

Throughout my traveling I was amazed to find so many banks that when I asked if they had any halves they said that "these have been sitting around forever thank you for taking them" and some of those were the solid CWR's.
I dont know if I will be doing as much traveling this year.
I am hoping to find my first solid 90's roll This year.
One of the things that keeps me
( and I am sure many others here) hunting is seeing your incredible finds.

I search $4000 in halves a week and didnt have a year close to what you had. Although in my best week I did very well and only had 6 weeks of being skunked. Most weeks I averaged about 30 40%ers and 10 90%ers. Wish I had a year like yours! Congrats

Nice results Steve. Good luck this year.

Those are absolutely incredible numbers! Great job...Brad

Thanks everyone. My wife does not think I am as crazy as she did when I started.
Hope everyone has a banner year in 2016.

Hey Steve, nice year! I remember some of those killer CWR's you had found earlier in the year, good luck in 2016! HH, Maverick.
