Yeap, get used to it, I still dig a pouch full of those every outing...
Trash Digging not Treasure Hunting:thumbsup:
If you like the trash, your get on just fine.

Looks like my first few finds--I think I found several rusty nails in my backyard my first time out--at least you got a variety of items :laughing7:. Next hunt I think I found a flattened can or something. I'd turn up the discrimination on your machine a bit if you have that control. Congrats on the new hobby! :icon_thumright:

My brother-in law, Jeff, just did his first day and was excited for the similar finds. Can't wait to hear about your first bit of coins! I am excited for you! HH

Glad to see that you are getting a dose of reality in the beginning and not a dose of beginners luck. The better finds will come with time and effort. It's not always nice coins and pretty rings. Most of the time it's junk and pull tabs. Remember that you have to dig everything that is close to what your target items may be. I did mostly everything unless in a really high concentration of old nails. Nice finds to start and good luck in the future. Happy hunting! Thanks for taking the time to share. :icon_thumleft:

As Dory says on Finding Nemo ,"just keep digging!"

You did better than I did my first time out!
Congratulations and welcome to TNet!

Welcome to the hobby. Pretty interesting to see a patch of lawn in front of you and then dig a hole and pull metal... any metal... out of the ground. I've always found it interesting and fun because you never know what you're going to find. Keep at it and the good finds will start to accumulate.
