Detector(s) used
MXT
Well, after getting the landscaping done and the grass cut, I was finally able to get out and use the new detector. After reading all the posts here about silver and neat old relics, I was hoping to hit something kinda nice (plus some motivation from Mona ;). ) Although I only searched in my backyard, I thought there would be something neat there.... Well, a washer ain't too bad for my first time!!

Tomorrow I head out to an old farmhouse they are tearing down to make way for "progress". This place is complete with barn. I guess I'm too chicken, but I won't go into the house -- who knows what kind of shape the place is in. I really don't feel like falling through any floorboards, and there should be plenty of searching to be done outside. :)

I second that. It's round, it gives a good signal, and it could just have easily been a coin. Keep swingin' that coil!

Let us know how you do at the house site!

I have to third the motion with regard to the washer, itsa keeper, I use them all the time and am constantly looking for just the right one for this or that, worth 2-3 cents on avg. great first find and may any more follow.
