Very nice! Congrats :hello2:

It's in great shape too. Many more to come!

Congratulations I’m so happy for you. You kept swinging and didn’t give up and know you’re rewarded with beautiful silver history. Be proud [emoji631]

Congratulations from someone who has NEVER found a Mercury dime. It is a beautiful coin, for sure. I need to get off the beach or "the land of clad" and hit some older areas. I would be embarrassed to tell you how many years that I have been metal detecting. But, my day will come, so I'm not worried. Thanks for including the photos.

Way to go, hopefully the first of many for you. It’s not an easy hobby to get started in these days. Good luck in your future quests!

A big :icon_thumright: for the first merc. I do love the mercury dimes, they are so beautiful. There are more goodies waiting for you.

I forget who said it but β€œthe harder I work the luckier I get”. So keep swingin and diggin and more will find their way to you.

Congratulations! Still looking for my first Mercury after 5 months.

They do come easier after the first one is found. Congratulations and I'll bet you have #2 before long at all.

This is how it works...you find ONE, it’s game on. You will TARGET those types of things...dig only deeper targets in older areas that have ID that’s close...that’s the game. You’ll be playing it from here on out! Congrats on your first, it NEVER gets old.

Congrats, she is a beauty! I remember my first one (1942), she wasn't near as pretty as yours :icon_thumleft:

Great job out that in a special coin case keep running over it with your detector and learn that sound. Well done many more to come. Tommy

It is a thrill to find this old stuff!
