Hi guys. This is my first message on this forum and I'm reporting about my first ever CRH, I did 2 days ago. Inspired by reading articles on this forum I ordered several coin rolls in Canada quarters and dimes in my local bank (TD Canada Trust).I've bought $200 (%50/50).
All quarters - skunk.
Dimes - one 1967 silver mackerel.
As on me, not too bad? :-)

Yesterday I've bought $300 in the same coins. Result - nothing. So far.. :-) Looks like I'm bitten. Will continue.

now for the bad news since 2001 -- the canadain govt has been culling all silver and good nickle / copper coins and replacing them with steel based copper and nickle coated coins * so your highly unlikely to find anything much in bank / govt rolls -- customer rolled coins are a differant matter --since they will likely contain "older" coins --- so ask for & try to get "normal" people rolled coins if possible. :icon_thumright:

Thanks. Actually I do in this way.

Today's hunt: $200 in quarters and dimes processed: a lot of US coins, one Austrian 1980 5 shilling and one 1968 50% Canadian silver quarter.
