My first beach find jewelry/button

While beach hunting This past Sunday , on a club outing, I"m new to the club, and new to using my new Garrett Ace 350, I found this piece of jewelry/button in 6 inches of sand at low tide, a minus tide in fact. When I located it the detector sounded off like a ring or precious metal. I was truly shocked ,in finding this item. I have submitted it to Mark Parker of W&ET for identification. Please see what you think of my find.
