I hunted a field on my family's land where I suspect there may have been an old homesite today. I found a bunch of iron items, and then I found this 1900 Barber. I couldn't believe it when I popped it out of the ground. I also found the guts of and old pocket watch.

Congrats on a nice Barber, very nice when its your first!

There's more, there's always more.

WTG Sarge, congrats on pulling your 1st Barber. :occasion14:

Congrats !! Great find , nice big silver ! Congratulations and happy hunting

We're it me, I would have carved her up like a turkey, as that's what I do whenever I find my "first" ...
Congratulations on recovering such a beautiful coin!

Congrats on the quarter! That is a really nice find, I would have liked to see the expression on your face when that surfaced!

Best of luck to you!

Nice job on a beautiful coin. Congrats

You are on a hot spot, best of luck and we will look forward to seeing more finds from you! Sub 8-)

Nice silver find! The iron is good, it means humans have been there and have lost goodies. A field absent of lead and iron is a dead field. Good Luck in 2016!

Congrats, Barber quarters don't pop up every day!
