I finally found my first barber dime today! I have found everything else in the world except this coin. Ive even found mercury dimes that were made in 1916, in which the first half of the year Barber dimes were made and then the second half mercury dimes. Also found a couple of Rosies, 1957 and 1962. There is a necklace charm of the Ten Commandments which I thought was cool, several wheaties, and some type of tag or token. Not sure yet. Thanks for looking!

Just looked in my pouch at a spoon I found today as well. It is very decorative and says "Washington" and has a pic of George Washington. Anyone know any information about this?

Thanks guys. I cleaned my spoon up a bit more and it almost looks like it has a 1889 or 1869 date at the top? Not sure. It has Wallace as the Makers Mark. Just not sure what I got here.

Think I was mistaken. I believe its a spoon celebrating the state of Washington, not George Washington.

Thanks Pirate. I was really excited! Love when I get those butterflies in my stomach when I find something. Today was the first time it has havnt in while. A Barber was a personal goal of mine!

Congrats on those 3 silver dimes. :occasion14: I really like that spoon to.

good job on the barber, I clearly remember my 1st barber, such an awesome feeling!

cool spoon as well!!

Great hunt and congrats on the Barber and the silver, the tag/coin hole looks good and worn so I'm thinking it was made into a Whizzer toy.
