Today I found my very first arrowhead. It's a tiny bird point. I found it at my favorite Hohokam pottery shard location, near a bunch of shards. Weeeeeeeee!
I was walking up a cow trail on a small hill and stopped when I saw the shards. I squatted down and saw just a bit of white sticking out of the ground. I thought it would be nothing. (I'd picked up a dozen "false alarm" rocks already.) When I pulled it out I was very pleasantly surprised. Diligence and patience finally paid off.
I'm no expert, so any input would be appreciated. Who made it? How old is it? What's it called?
