My first 1908 coin

I have just started to post on treasurenet. Lot of excellent forums here. I use to post a lot on White's treasurennet. I live in Southern California, not many old coins here like I see posted on this forum. I found this coin last week but thought it would be okay to post as a new find I found this with my XL PRO in an old public park. I found it about 4" down. Not that deep for a coin this old. I had been over this area several times. Had found old Wheaties from the 20's in the same area. Just goes to show you no site is hunted out

Wow, I'm in southern California (San Diego) also and I know what you mean when it comes to old coins like the ones our midwest and east coast friends post. That's a beauty! 4 inches in a local park...whew. Nice find!!
