First off I would like to say that these pics are my own. (I'm still cracking up over Van's post) These were all found at an old homesite from the late 1800's. The house was recently demolished and we could only detect where the house actually stood. There is a lot of area elsewhere to detect except the grass is waist deep. I need to get a couple of gas weedwackers and get back in there. I assume there is a lot of good finds to be had. Anyway, I found this really cool Eagle lock, I hope someone can date it. The little cast iron toy cannon doesn't have any marks on it. Looks WW1 era to me maybe and it's my favorite find from this spot. The franklin half is a '51. Also, not pictured are 4 wheaties the oldest being a 1909. Can't wait to get back and have at it again.
