Well preserved (considering the wartime conditions when it was dropped or lost) "GOLD SABA" cigarette tin; made by GARBATY of Berlin, Germany--in about 1942 is my guess.

Actually cigarette pack is made during World War I.

And to think I get excited about a 1919 toasted wheat penny.

A quick look at flights shows it will cost $1200 round trip from New York to Latvia.....

Wonderful finds, and those wild strawberries look delicious! Latvia seems like a great place to hunt; I have to buy antiquities from Latvian diggers on ebay since there is no way for me to find such things in the US. Thanks for sharing!
