My find looks Identical to item described 'Medievel Document Ring'

Hi all and Merry Christmas, pulled this from the mud yesterday and tabbed it as a toy ring.
Quite surprisingly I caught a youtube vid this morning and see the same item described as:

"its for going around documents ie a scroll rolled up and slid into the ring so it went over the scroll and the part on the side was where the wax seal attached it to the document and its actually Medieval"
It is about finger ring size.
Your thoughts are appreciated, Thanks, Herbie.

I can't help Herbie. However I will say that your "mud" produces the some of the coolest finds posted on TNet.:icon_thumright:

Thanks for the help Diggumup, I use the UKFD often, it's a great resource.
Here's the vid I spoke of, he seems to be well known and respected detectorist communicating with some Tnet members.
If you watch the vid on youtube the ID of the ring is shown in comments, but doesn't say exactly where he got the info.
It appears to be the same as the one I found.
I tried contacting him to no avail. Thanks again :icon_thumright:
