The first day I turned to field hunting brought me the first seal matrix. I even did not realize what it is in the darkness.
The second was found in approximately 10 meters from the first_ but after1 month and after reworking of the field by farmer.
The last was a prize to me after 5 hours of hunting at the field inside forest, without any results. Do not have any idea who lost this matrix in the empty and wild place

Very neat finds! I would be soooooo tempted to find an ink pad and try them out. >:( ;D

I would venture a guess that someone many many years ago was carrying mail/loot/message from one castle to another and along came the highway robber, whacked him on the head with his trusty sword, grabbed the bundle of loot/mail, and left the poor guy with a bad headache (or worse) with the seals in his pocket in a small leather pouch. The pouch hit the dirt, along with the messenger, and laid there gathering dust and dirt for a couple of centuries or more. OR, the seals were in the loot pouch and the robber tossed them aside as unwanted.

If you check local (German) histories, you may luck out and find those particular seals were attached to certain castles/families. Family crests.

WoW! Those are some really nice finds Sand! :o

Your persistence paid off!

;)
