My Excalibur coil falsing problem is fixed

If you need replacement bolts, check at Lowes or Home Depot for Nylon Bolts. They were in a drawer in the nuts and bolts section when I checked. I recommend checking for those first, if they arent there, I heard toilet seat bolts work as well, but they are too wide, and you have to ream out the holes on the coil. I didn't like that idea, and hunted for a better alternative, and there it is.

Hope this helps.

Using a metal bolt is not a good idea as it distorts the field. Why do you think the factory uses Nylon bolts and nuts?

Any metal near the coil will give you falsing, be that a mounting bolt "OR" even the coil wire wrapped around the stem close to the coil.
Always use a plastic bolt and never wrap the coil wire around the stem withen 8" of the coil. I always run the coil wire straight along the stem with wire ties til it is atleast a foot above the coil before wrapping it around the stem.
