As title says, my Equinox has died.

For some reason it will not turn off, it just keeps on making random sounds, then shuts down restarts and makes more random bleeps, with no error messages on screen.

I've tried factory reset etc, but no luck, it's literally sitting by the side of me now, refusing to turn off and making real weird random sounds.

Time to send it in for repair under the warranty I reckon.

Gutted.

I will hold a 1 minute silence for the beast...lol..

Matt

We need you to write an obituary. Something short and tasteful, that details the high points of your Nox's gloriously-short life.

Might b worth trying to update the 3.0 firmware while the unit is still on and see what happens. Can’t hurt anything

Just give them a call and send it back. When did you buy yours? Warranties are going to running out real soon now.

Sorry to read your Equinox is having issues Matt. Good luck on the repair!

Mine did that same thing I slammed it against a tree it’s working fine now. Or just send it in and get the warranty

Don't slam it into a tree.

Telephone poles are better.

Condolences ,,, Was it ever dunked ?

UPDATE: It started working again somehow!!

Well happy!

thanks
Matt

Maybe it doesn't like Tuesdays ??

If it is restarting on it's own now, it may happen again. the worst thing is, if you are 'updating' a firmware, and it happens, it could cause the unit to be bricked.

I think you should send it in. Hopefully they already know about this, and if not, they may not be able to recreate the fault, and put it down as 'user error' which would be the beginning of a nightmare. Hopefully not.

Get it documented at least!

Was good while it lasted, see the next dead nox next week. Lolol Hh should be fixed already to be honest.
