Hi guys.
I haven't been very active on the forum lately.
Today I searched a new site and I wanted to share it with you.
The area is full of tile's or pot's pieces. I was not surprised that I found some holes or even digging signs. Somebody was quicker than me but I was still lucky.
I found a lot of iron stuff and a lot of that I didn't even dig it but the most special finds where some coins and the best was a silver Drahm. It was my last find before leaving.
Here are the pics for you.

Don't worry, Vince! They're both awesome and now we're double jealous.

HH ALL

Great find Vince!!! :headbang:

Do you have a sniper coil for the AT Pro?

I stopped at a house that has been abandoned and scheduled for demolition. I saw many signs of a fellow Md-er's plugs. So I installed my 5" sniper coil and pulled 8 coins that the previous guy left. Small coils give you better separation.

Wow Vince, that Drahm is really awesome.

Great looking silver! Congrats.

Very nice Dyrrhachium drachm! Glad you've found more ancient silver, hard to beat treasure like that.

Thanks Loco
I've been using the 5x8 coil since I bought it, last year. I really would like to use the larger one to cover more area but the terrain is difficult. With the 5x8 I can search every inch on these areas. This silver coin was under a bunch of grass. Maybe someone passed there and searched around this bunch of grass that now was dry and I could pass the coil over it.

Thanks man. I was not in the mood since I had found some flat bronze coins but when I found the silver one I thought I could fly from the top of the hill.
There is some stuff for you Plumbata, maybe you know something about the knife on the first pic.

Hey man, that knife is a typical but nice example of a folding knife (like a pocket knife but without a tension spring or catch to keep the blade locked open). You would use a finger on the spiral end to flip out the blade from the handle. It is a simple design that was used for centuries but I'd be comfortable calling it Medieval, though it could be earlier or from as late as the 1700s, it's hard to say really but the good condition suggests it isn't ancient. Keep up the nice finds!

Truly amazing coins Vince....great job

Nice one CONGRATS:occasion14:
