Nice find! Great Lithic! Defiantly a day maker.

That’s a dandy …looks like a Hell Gap. Are the basal edges ground?

That was kind of my thoughts as well but the top edge in the pic' did not look like it had basil grinding.
Been a while 11KBP, I trust all is well.

Nothing looks ground, the basal edges show flaking. it is highly polished from the sand bar. Glad to see you are still on here!

Not that it's related, I found a disintegrating mammoth tooth not 5 yards away.

All is well Chase, how's your dad doing ...and tell him "howdy" next time you talk to him.

You know I will, He is doing great. You going to be at SAF this year or just Seward?

I do have the tooth, I soaked it in white glue water mix and repaired some of it, Its still a nice chunk of tooth. I have another one from a quarry in Nebraska it's rock hard.

Probably won’t make the Colorado show but I have never missed the Nebraska Show yet.

Last year’s Nebraska show was a first class show. Dr. Emily G. Williams provided an extremely interesting presentation on “Folsom Land Use Patterns in the Central Plains”.
