My Deus Says, "Non parlez l'anglais"

I ordered my Deus from Bart and it came in. I had enough time to unpack it and check things out, but no time to play around with it. When I did get some time, I found out that its all in French. I don't speak French very well. The remote has no provision for changing the language, nor is there a function in the update to accomplish this.

Has anyone had this happen to them? What did you do? I emailed Bart about this, and he said he would check with XP and see what they say about it. Until then I am stuck unless someone here has had this problem and reveals what they did to cure it.

Someone here coined the phrase, 'French Mistress,' regarding their Deus. Right now mine is being a French prostitute, and I cant tell whether she is leading me down the alley for a good time or for a beatdown and take all my cash.

Call Bart and see if you upload or reload version 3.2 will get it fixed maybe. There should be regardless I thought < key word "I Thought" to change languages?

Okay here is an update. Bart gave me the number for Detector Electronics, and they will be sending me a new remote and a call tag for the Frenchie remote. Very good service, and the gentleman that I spoke with, Moe, was super-knowledgeable and friendly. He even listened to my detecting stories!

Here's the real kicker: Moe said that I was the only person in USA that has gotten a French-speaking remote. I don't know whether to feel special or not!
