My Day Off Doesn't Get Wasted!

Hi all,
Got out today and for once on my day off it was nice out. After all the rain we have had I went and hit some of my regular haunts.The first was my fairgrounds and even though I didn't find quantity(5 coins)I found a 1946 silver rosie and only my 3rd buffalo nickle!(1917)For me buffaloes are one of the hardest coins to find.On the 2nd part of the day,went to our local park and with knorrski's help found about 50 clad to go with 3 wheaties and a cool lookin frat pin.I was impressed with both places as the area I found the buffalo and silver I personally hunt hard and the park we seldom find a dozen coins and a occassional oldie because it is heavily hunted.The park flooded from the rains and alot of the coins were found at the base of trees were the water dug out alittle area.

WTG.....I think everyone has that one coin that eludes them for a long time....for me the Barber coin was my one that took many years to find....I had bust coins,seated and no barbersthen finally a barber quarter at a scout camp....then after that I found more...........Glad to see the coins are poping out!!!!! 8)

Hey sounds like a good day to me, nice finds! I know what you mean about
the weather. Here in NW Ohio, it's snowing, but you know what it's water,
and the wetter the better.

You guys want to find buffalo's, dig all the signals and hunt in coins-jewerly
mode. There out there, they just take a little more digging to find them.

Remember a ring sounds like a pull tab and a buffalo sounds like a pull tab!

You gotta dig junk to find the goodies
