Maybe one of the mods will fix the pics. Sorry all. The older fellow in the pic is my grandfather. Never met him, past in 1972 at the age of 81. Born
in 1891, he was 49 when he had my dad in 41 so. LOL , Peanuts the character pig pen, my dad was that kid.

Thank you Jeff. Way to be Johnny on the spot.. :icon_thumleft::icon_thumleft::icon_thumleft:

I was born in 1942. This picture looks familiar, the way people dressed back then. I have a bunch of pictures of my family and kinfolk. I like to go back occasionally and look through them.

This was taken on our family farm. Last building to go was the house late 1970's. Anyway I have a more 1940's of the land VS. current photographs taken at same spot today. That might make a good post, best during winter you can see foundations with no vegetation. We still own land for what its worth.image.jpg No trespassing here.

So right at this moment if I was 300 light years away from earth and had a powerful camera I would be seeing 1715 in real time. Sound reasonable.

Great pictures and pure nostalgia! Thanks for posting!
