My year and a half old daughter loves "helping" me as I search. Usually she takes the coins I've searched and puts them in the coffee can, but when I'm not searching fast enough, either hands me a roll and yells at me in jibberish, or she starts taking coins out and spreading them out... Like this
Sure there is a mess to clean up, and I have to be sure and check the couch cushions, but I love seeing here get excited about coins She also takes the dumps in and picks up boxes with me - which helps a LOT because she flirts with all the tellers. Plus they remember "they guy in the neon yellow shirt with a baby", so I rarely have to ask about half and dollar coins - they know I'll take them so most offer them when I walk in.
