My coolest finds yet! WWII and some Civil War? HELP

Can anyone identify these bullets? All the bullets in the first picture are .35 in and I think might be civil war era.
As for the second, i don't know. The far left is pretty big, the second one (L to R) has a collar, the third looks like a hollow point and the last one is .35 in. All look modern (WWII)

*any rings or collars on the bullets go completely around, no breaks or partials. Thanks :)

I also found a 1913 Nickel, two pennies (1975 and 1999) and a few .223 shells.

I also found a casing that says: 16 351 and measures .45. Anyone know what it is? Looks to be made out of steel.

I don't think four ring bullets are as old as the Civil War. I can't remember much more than that, don't find them often around here. Try the whatsit forum !

keep @ it and HH !! :hello2:

The bullets in the first picture probably came from a .38/.357 pistol. They are semi wad cutters. They cut pretty round holes in targets that are easily seen and counted. Sorry, but they are not that old. The one in your caliper appears to be a .45 caliber...d2

I agree, and they are probably a lot newer than WW2. Modern pistol slugs.

I also agree they are not CW period bullets (the Cast Ones)

Does anyone know at what time Ammo makers/ home Casters Started making the Semi Wad Cutter Bullets of the type the OP found?
Imo-The 45 Fmj Could date to WW2 ; as they were in use then.

Alright, but I do think one thing is odd. The base of these bullets have primer marks. It's as if they were fired without a shell???

I know almost all the .45's are from WWII because they're military rounds and the only time military was ever in the area I metal detected was from 1860-1946. I just don't know what kind of bullets they are (by that I mean, are they a special kind of .45 caliber?) because one of them has a collar of some sort and another has a hollow tip (but has been fired).

Nice finds!
