This is about two years worth of marbles I’ve found metal detecting I just throw them in an old mason jar do they have any value other than the Fondness I have for them????

Great collection! My Dad had a whole sack full from when he was growing up in the 20s. Unfortunately, they made great slingshot and canon ammunition for my older brother and I. We shot the bigger ones out of our homemade canon. We fired off hundreds which were obviously never recovered - Argh! Guess I’ll never know whether any were valuable. I only have about 100 left. Now that my dad has passed, I feel guilty about losing those marbles. I guess that’s life.

Nice finds! I see a lot of older marbles from around the 40s to 70s or so. I see Vitro, Marble King, Alley, Akro, and others.

I took my dads bag of 1940's marbles to school and promptly lost most of them shooting marbles. I saved some luckily, cut my losses and never shot marbles again. I feel your pain. Glad I saved 100 like you. Gary
