No coins for me this time. I stayed till 4:30 and had a great time. Thanks Bomber for being a great host. My best find was a new digger from Ron . Nice to meet you all.

I don't know what the thing is on the far left in pic 3 ?

I thought the bottle was neat. Its a bireley's and reads( s T 55) on the bottom. Its thick and heavy glass.

The grape jam is in a little unopened container the size of a can of chew...

Great finds, it also looks like you found some lipstic's too (the gold things in your last pix).

C ration grape jam
try the peanut butter it rocks

wish you would have gotten your silver buddy, but nothing wrong with a full belly and a new digger

Nice finds dude, I like the bottle the best! you dug a lot more than I did for sure. I picked up a Merc, a Rosie and a couple of Wheat Cents. Tman, Dave and I stopped by Washington park on our way home and Tman got a Rosie and a couple of wheats  I got another Merc, three Indians a couple of wheats! :icon_pirat:

I don't need to find coins every time  . I like to because then I can then self justify this as a free hobby that makes small amounts of money (trying to forget about the gas and batteries ;D ). I got my detector on 9-18-08 (5 days shy of having it a month) and made a lot of interesting little finds. I am still a newb in the md hobby but its a great time. Here is a pick of all of my finds together so far. Still no silver or gold....but thats ok its been less than a month.

You'll be surprised how fast that clad adds up. My first full year with the Ace 250 netted me several hundred dollars in clad. The Aces are great for clad and they pay for themselves quickly! Nice job.

Joe

p.s. I found my first 3 silver coins in 2008 at the camp with the Ace 250. Persistence pays off.

Re: My camp finds.....Nice finds max...alotta diggin,,but worth it....Lotta Fun

 ;D

That thing on the left in pic 3 is the bezel from a water gauge attached to a 1941 Barclay Marquardt float plane trailer balancing module from their manufacturing facility in Sun City, Arkanssouri. I think. But it's debatable.

Good to meet you and check out those neighborhood playgrounds early am Sat or Sun morns, find an old farm or two you can go dirt fishin' at and chase a carnival or two around the area.

Hey Max that's a nice assortment of relics! Is the shotgun shell an old paper cartridge? I found a "No. 10" today which is a first for me. I've previously found several "No. 12"s Nice meeting you and keep at it! The silver will come when you LEAST expect it. Patience and Persistence will get er done.
