Well my auctions finally ended, and I got one of my payments. When I went to ship I contacted the buyer to see what his shipping said since mine only said 3.09 back to my address so I was confused. Asked him what he said and it said the same. So I just told him i was going to ship it flat rate box for 5.15 and ill just eat the overage since it was my mistake. Got a message back from him, he sent me another 4 bucks to cover the overage!!! Man what a nice guy that is to do that. And he's been helpful with the final stuff.

But on the flip side my other item the guy is jerking me around on my payment. He's made 2 different excuses in the last 12 hours. Granted I put 7 days but the funny thing is he wants me to ship without payment!! He said he gets his check on Saturday and will pay after he sees its shipped. Well I politely told him that it stated that it will ship when payment is made and not before. After the 7th I was advised to just file a report with eBay and go from there. Well if he ends up not paying I guess you can't win them all. Oh well I'll just put it back on it'll have no problem selling again. Well everyone have a great day.

I just figured I'd share that there still some great nice people out there.

Kudos to the first guy. To hell with the second. Relist it after 7 days if he doesn't pay and file a case for a non paying bidder.

Pay after it's sent. :laughing7:

I have paid additional shipping after the sale many times.

I have little patience for deadbeats. I give them the time specified in the listing + a few days. Then I send them a polite message with another (short) deadline. If they fail that, they get reported and then I put them on my list of banned bidders so I never have to deal with them again.

I asked the first guy if he wanted his change after I sent it out and he said no. The second guy he's a new buyer. But I'm a "new" seller so he problay seen a sucker. The ill pay after its shipped was the giveaway lol. Not the first I've seen not the last.

Thanks for the advice, I plan on giving the 7 days and then relist, and now I know about it the ban. Well have fun out their guys.

In dealing with some other gold prospectors on Ebay, back in the old days, several times I mailed out gold suckers before I got the buyers check in the mail. Never got burned, not once.

I can honestly say, I have done this. Not anymore as I have been burned one too many times. Back in the ebay glory days, people did some strange things (and lived to tell about them).

I've done it as well. The key thing is the guy asked... and that's the red flag.
