My "bumper art" Ace 250
I've been known to weld some odd things It was a rainy day today, and I decided to fool-around out in the garage for awhile today. I've made some different hitch covers for friends, and never have recalled seeing anything MD-related. So.....I made myself a little Ace 250 hitch cover.
It' s about 15" long & the shaft is 1/4" solid rod. Obviously I used a washer for the coil, and a nut for the control box. The armcup is a section of iron pipe I sliced. I used 1/4" rod to space it away from the 2" sq tubing (which slips inside a hitch receiver & is drilled for the hitch pin)so the size of the tubing wouldn't detract from the MD. It's all steel. Of course I had to paint it to match my 250
